The Twickenham Rugby Shuttle service runs between Richmond and Twickenham Stadium whenever there are matches going on at the Twickenham Rugby Stadium. The shuttle bus service is operated by London United from their Fulwell Garage. The buses usually used on the shuttle service are Volvo B7TL's/ALX400's (VA's) and Trident/ALX400's (TA's).
TfL have new rules which are to commence from the 3rd of January 2012. Which are that all buses must have a Euro3 engine and above and all buses must not past 11-15 years of age in the London bus network operations. London United are already prepared in taking some of their 12 year old VA's out of the London bus network operations and keeping them for private use like the Twickenham Rugby Shuttle. VA81 was seen at Twickenham Stadium, refurbished and looking younger than its actual age

This refurbishment of VA81 included a new repaint, new LED blinds, a removal of the rear door, different types of seats with seat-belts.
