Route 15's Observation's: Part 1- The first of the new E400H Hybrid's

Route 15 operates between Regent Street and Blackwall via The Tower London. The route is operated from Bow Garage situated in the East of London.

In late August2011, it was announced externally that Route 15 was bound to get hybrids. These hybrids were to be Enviro400 Hybrids. At this time route 15 was being ran from West Ham Garage where Stagecoach's head office is. Route 15 was to transfer out of West Ham Garage to Bow Garage on the 17th September to make way for most of Upton Park Garages routes transferring into the garage following the closure of Upton Park.

Tuesday 21st December 2011, saw one of the new 22 hybrids bound for the 15 enter service. The bus was Stagecoach's 12128/LX61DFD. LX61DFD is currently using running's 1 or 22 as it's currently the most important running on the 15 until the remaining 21 fellow hybrids join 12128 on the route.
