Observations and Odd Workings- 8th January 2012

Well, this has to be my first observations post of the new year. This time I decided to do my observations nearer to home. Reason being... spending too much time in the fast lane of Central London and the Wembley area. Anyway, today I decided to do my observations at Queen Mary's Hospital, Bexleyheath Garage, Lewisham and Norwood Junction. All of these areas are situated in the South-East of London.

Route 229, London Central (BX), E205, SN61DCV seen at Queen Mary Hospital
Despite the freezing cold weather and me battling an annoying cough. I made my way around south London to capture many of these beautiful buses.
Route 229, London Central (BX), WVL456, LJ61GVT seen passing Bexleyheath Bus Garage
The bus above is intended for route 658 which operates on Mondays to Fridays. During the weekends this bus is a spare inside Bexleyheath Garage and usually gets intermixed on any DD route inside the garage.

Arriva Kent Thameside (DT), 6465, GN61JRU seen at Queen Mary Hospital

London Central (BX), E50/LX56ETV and E204/SN61BKL seen at Bexleyheath Garage

London Central (BX), PVL57/W457WGH, PVL58/W458WGH and PVL175/X575EGK seen at Bexleyheath Garage
Before any of you ask, I didn't visit Bexleyheath Garage today, I just stood outside and took pictures of the garage. But you never know I may return some point this year to do a garage visit at BX...
Route 89, London Central (BX), E207, SN61DCY seen at Lewisham Bus Station

Route 196, London General (SW), E66, LX57CLF seen at Norwood Junction (Terminus for routes 130 and 196)
So where will I do my observations next? Could it be North London, West London, East London, South London or Central London. Keep you eyes peeled and watch this space!

  1. You don't do enough posts around West London so maybe next time... Heathrow/Hayes/Uxbridge/Hounslow :)
