The blog's 6th month Birthday and our 85th Post. Route W16

As some of you may know, today is the blog's sixth month birthday and we are proud to be running the All Over London Bus Blog and to have such lovely viewers like you. Today seemed to be a big day in the bus industry with many, many changes around the East London area (this includes Route 455 in the Croydon area). This infact is our 85th post. The 85th post will go to Route W16 as we have a few more posts coming your way this evening and tomorrow.

Route W16 is a suburban route of Walthamstow which operates between Leytonstone and Chingford Mount. Route W16 was previously run by Arriva London from their Edmonton (EC) garage with 9 8.8m Pointer Dart's with a PDL class. On 3rd March 2012, Route W16 was successfully won by First London East and transferred to there Northumberland Park (NP) Garage with 9 brand new E20D's. Although Route W16 will not be First London East for much longer as First have sold their Northumberland Park Garage to Go-Ahead London. Go-Ahead London's operations will commence from the 28th March 2012. It is most likely that NP will run under the Blue Triangle operations. But who knows?

-a Euro 5 Cummins ISBe Engine with a Alison Gearbox and have a horsepower of 140
-a weight of UW 7381 KGS
-a seating capacity of 26
-Estaban Civic seats containing First's standard moquette

So, how will Go-Ahead London pull off running all routes from Northumberland Park Garage? We'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for reading the post, I sincerely hope you enjoyed it
