Route 265 Brentwood - Lakeside

Something Non-London for a change

Judging from appearances, this looks like a London Buses service, but this is in fact a commercial service from First London. The 265 operates a few return journeys on Mondays to Saturdays between Brentwood and Lakeside. One of two infrequent services between the two locations (the other being route X81, which offers one return journey). It also serves the Cherry Avenue / Knights Way area and the villages of Ingrave, Herongate, West Horndon, Bulphan and Orsett.

Now what is a bit strange is that the 265 is actually run by First London from the Dagenham Garage using a mix of buses which can include DN's(E400), TN/TNL's, VNW's, Monday to Friday and DMC's, DML's(Marshal Dart), DML's(E200) on Saturdays.
Now here are a few pictures:

This route takes you down A road's, B road's Tight country lanes and places where you would not think a bus could go quite fun in a DD, You also get to explore the great scenery at speed as there are quite a few 50 MPH sections as you pass though Essex and cheap fares as well, Even though this route has been running for a few years now I still find it weird to see a red bus passing though countryside in service
