| Route 9 TLA6 SN53EUM - Hammersmith |
On 1st June extras vehicles ran on the 9, I am not too sure why but I think it was due to a part closure on the Piccadilly Line. This and a few other TAs & TLAs were out on the 9 that day alongside the VEs. This is one of the TLAs from Hounslow Heath Garage allocated to School Route 635 which passed from Metroline to London United earlier this year. When the 9 was operated with conventional buses there was quite a bit of variety on the route such as SPs and ADHs alongside the allocated VEs. TAs have been on the 9 before in the past, but as Stamford Brook garage do not have any, this quite here can be seen as unusual.
Variety will no longer be seen on this route as it is now allocated New Bus For London so for the next 10 years I assume nothing other than Borismasters will be on the 9. The VEs that were previously allocated to the 9 have been transferred to route 57.
